"Julia right from the beginning made it feel like we were taking photos with a long time friend. My nervousness about being awkward while posing flew out the window because of the incredible prompts she gave us during the entirety of the shoot. I found myself becoming more and more comfortable in front of the camera as time went on. Not only did she capture great moments of my sister and I but she also listened to what we wanted. Along the entire photoshoot she showed us the images she captured and asked for our input, and was willing to take pictures any way we wanted to position ourselves. From the consultation to the end of the photoshoot it was truly an experience that I will remember forever, and be able to look back on with these photos! If you are hesitant about picking a photographer trust me and book julia you won’t regret it!"

I had so much fun during my session! I was really nervous about having to come up with poses, but Julia had so many great pose ideas that I didn’t worry about that at all during my shoot! She is SO personable and kind and helped me feel confident in front of the camera. I had a dream of taking photos with the PDX skyline in the background at a certain dock and Julia made it happen! She previewed the location before my session and practiced taking photos there so she was prepared to get all the right angles and shots. She even found some surrounding buildings and greenery to make my other location ideas happen as well. Julia defiantly goes above and beyond for her clients

My experience working with Julia was so fun and comfortable. This being my first time getting professional photos done of myself was definitely one to remember! I was really nervous before our session because I didn't know what to expect but Julia made it so easy to open up and relax, as well as guide me with what poses to do for each moment which I was really nervous about coming into my session. Julia was so easy to talk to and it made the whole session even more enjoyable. My pictures are beyond amazing and I'm in love with every single one of them! We had a wonderful photo shoot session with Julia. We love the natural style and she captured how much fun we have walking through down town Portland and the surrounding parks. Julia put us at ease and her talent for capturing the special moment is also complimented by her kindness, professionalism and fantastic work ethic. Julia is a blast to work with. The only challenge is to select pictures from the gallery - there are so many! We feel special, at ease and delighted to receive such personal care from you. I think you made Adrienne feel at ease.
